Sally Viganò explores the human mind and the nervous system through printmaking and glass. She is interested in underlining the fragility of our brain, trying to make the processes through which rational gestures become irrational and habits turn into obsessions visible.
“I use installation, printmaking and glass to show that all that gestures that appear rational and balanced, thanks to their repetition, are just the surface of a never-ending, obsessive, destruction and re-construction process.”
